What is renewable energy?

Renewable energy sources are those sources which are inexhaustible. For example, solar energy and wind energy are constant energy supplies. On the other hand, fossil fuels like oil, coal or natural gas are exhaustible sources with limited supplies.

Solar energy is a prominent source of energy when it comes to heating, lighting houses or even for generating electricity. This electricity can be used to drive today's cars. Though this technology is in its first stage of development, rapid developments in this field have promised a pollution-free environment thanks to solar powered cars in the future.
