Hybrid Buses in Seattle December 2004Gasguzzeler writes "235 Seattle buses get hybrid technology by GM. This will improve fuel efficienncy by 60%. This fleet will save 750,000 gallons of fuel a year. If 9 other of the largest metro areas in the country replaced their buses with these hybrids, it would save 40,000,000 galons of fuel a year. These vehicles also reduce emmissions, giving out 90% fewer particles. It's a step in the right direction." | ||
