Honda Civic is one of the best-selling compact cars, Well built, comfortable, technologically-advanced. The Honda Civic would be the first hybrid car to go into mass production. It boasts of a new and improved engine. It also features a stronger and more efficient IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) system which graced the Honda Insight.

Honda Siel Cars India has brought to the Indian market, the newer version of the popular sedan segment model Honda Civic, which is called the Civic Hybrid. Distinctive looks of the car catch the attention of speed lovers at the outset. A six-sided grille imparts pretty aggressive appearance to the make. The long windshield angles have been integrated into the hood in such a way that the front of the Civic Hybrid steals the thunder.

Among the most prominent exterior features of the Civic Hybrid, you can see the roof mounted rear window antenna, security system with remote entry with trunk release, body-colored power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators and heated side mirrors with leather. Moreover, you have here the variable intermittent windshield wipers, rear decklid spoiler, multi-reflector halogen headlights and body-colored door handles which all together make the City Hybrid a touch-me-not beauty.

As regards to the interior features, they are quite complementary to the regal exteriors of the Hybrid. You can see the leather trim inside that soothes your senses. Leather trimmed seats, heated front seats and side mirrors and leather wrapped steering wheel make the interiors a soothing sight. Moreover, adjustable rear head-rests, center console with arm-rest and a jazzy CD/CDR/CDRW/MP3 audio system with Honda USB Audio Interface make your drive a sheer pleasure. The 3-spoke steering wheel here looks elegant indeed.

Civic Hybrid is an ingenuously fuel-efficient picture of performance. The integrated motor assist IMA system is all equipped with highly powerful and fuel-efficient 1.3 Liter, 8 Valve I VTEC 4 cylinder gasoline engine mated with a lightweight electric motor, which can churn out extra power whenever needed.

The all-new continuously variable transmission introduced in the Civic Hybrid brings in, the blend of ease of the automatic and the efficiency of the manual. The idle stop feature shuts off the engine automatically, when the car stops.

Honda has also paid due attention to the safety features in the Civic Hybrid. To name a few prominent ones, we have 3-Point Seat Belts at all Seating Positions, Front 3-Point Seat Belts with Automatic Tensioning System, Driver's and Front Passenger's Seat Belt Reminder, Dual-Stage, Multiple-Threshold Front Airbags (SRS), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Child Proof Rear Door Locks and an Emergency Trunk Release can be mentioned.
